To participate you must register individually before 1:30 PM PDT on 20th February 2016. You will have to register your team separately before submission deadline. You may not be part of more than one team.

Teams of up to 5 people are allowed. Teams must submit a list of members upon submitting their hack by submission date/time on 21st February 2016. Any modification after that must be approved by the organizers.

We all start coding at the same time. This is done to keep things fair. You can use open source projects or libraries, or public API’s. Please don’t come and build on top of existing projects.

Each team will need to register to be able to demo their hack. Instructions to register teams for demo will be posted soon.

Each team will have 3 minutes for presentation. 2 minute for demo and 1 minute for Q&A from judges. You may use powerpoint to explain your hack but no more than 5 slides. Goal is to showcase the demo.

Teams have full ownership of everything they build and are free to do with it as they wish.

Judging Criteria

Winners will be selected by the corporate judges and judges provided by the SVHacks. Please take a look at the parameters used for evaluating the projects.

By attending SVHacks you acknowledge that your picture and video may be used without compensation, prior permission or notification in any promotional material related to SVHacks.
